| Hello, I live in the UK. I love Natalie Portman's bob, but I have to ask you: why would a man want to have such a haircut? I think it's sexy on women, on men personally, I cannot see a bob with a fringe. But maybe it's just me! I remember Paul Weller in the 80s with a bob and I remember thinking he looked a bit weird...
But I know a guy at work with a bob (no fringe) and he looks OK. Do you HAVE to have a fringe? |

| hi juliet thankyou for your advise. but i really would love to have bob style cut like natalies because i think it could look quite good on a man and i also think that more men should try bob cuts like this. i also feel that men have not got as much choice of hairstyles than women do and i think men should be more advengerous and not worry what other people think. |

| I had my Bob for four years. I liked it a lot! Alas, not only is my hair thinning, but I'm also about to begin a job search, and so many people have this "why would a guy want a Bob?" thing. I'm very sorry to say I no longer have either my pretty Bob or my black and green color scheme. It makes me very sad. I miss it already, and I've only been growing it out for a few months. | hi juliet you dont need to apoligies you where only saying whether you felt a bob hairstyle would suit a man or not and the answer to if i have had my hair cut is no its just not long enough yet and i dont whether i could get my haircut like that i find myself a little bit shy so i tend not to have my hair cut much it embarases me going into hairdressers i will have to see if i can build up the courage to go and get my haircut like that. |

| Hi Tom, I know how you feel! But don't be intimidated by hairdressers, they are there to serve you, to do what you say (in theory).
The problem I have with hairdressers is that I never know if I can trust them. Will they cut it the way I want it? You know, with all those ugly styles around... I've been sitting in front of my PC for a good couple of hours comparing pictures of me with my hair as it is now (mid back) and with a bob wig to see how I might look. I'm so close to go and have it cut. But WHERE??? I know this lady at work with a striking inverted flame red bob. Very nice, but very often her hairdesser cuts one side shorter! So. how's your hair like at present? |

| hi sorry its taken me so long to replie had problems with my computer so my hair is about a inch long brown hair at the moment. so ive still got a bit of growing to do yet, i had it cut a few months ago and had it all shaved off for the first time ever. |
