| I've worn long hair for many years but have always liked bob cuts. But, alas, it is not common to find a guy with a bob. I recently decided to trim my hair with the fantasy of getting it to bob length, if my wife would permit it. When I asked here to trim it I thought we would do a few inches like a few months ago, and then do more later. But suddenly it was decided to cut it to shoulder length! I added a bit of angle and ended up with a long bob. She even suggested I get a professional to trim it, layering the ends at the back (can you say stacked?). I'm excited!
I've worn it "down" most of the time and sometimes tucked behind my ears. The amazing thing is that nobody seems bothered by it. My friends and co-workers like it, with about half and half liking it more down or tucked back. Trying to figure out who to have trim it I came upon a possible solution. The receptionist at a restaurant last night had a fantastic bob. I was eating with a friend so I waited for an opportune time and went up and complemented here on the cut and asked her who did it. She enthusiastically gave me the name and number--in a town about 30 miles away, perfect for some privacy! I can't wait to arrange a trim, to give it a bit more bob shape, layered back and back part of the sides. |
