| I realize it has been quite a long time since I've done an update to the web site.
After a heated job search, which I'm happy to say has turned out much better than I expected, I've had 10 months of near vertical learning curve at my new job with startup-style deadlines to meet, punctuated by a bad scare with regards to my health. Oh, and my mother died and my wife is scheduled for multiple rounds of surgery. So yet again, for about the fifty seventh time, I apologize for my tardiness. I've been through a bit of a wringer in the past two years since our stock portfolio tanked. |

| I'm not sure I'd say my life is tough. It's more like full. But sometimes it is very full.
And I'm sorry if I sounded a little abrasive. That wasn't intentional, it's just how I sound. Photographs of me always look like I'm scowling, too. Ah, well. In the immediate future I desperately (!) need to replace the ten year old server that runs our email, DNS, and a slew of other things. But I'll see what I can do about adding new pictures, perhaps next weekend, May 5/6. |

| This morning I'm sifting through the many, many lovely donations we've received over these past two years. I'd just like to go on record for the forty-'leventh time that this is the part of my job on the Bob Haircut Worship Page that is truly not fun at all. Sure, I get to see lots of great pictures of beautiful people with lovely Bobs (and lovely other styles). But so many of them can't go on to the web site for one reason of another that it kills me.
Sometimes it's the picture quality (resolution, size, lighting, background, blurry, grainy, etc.). Sometimes the hair, lovely though it may be, just isn't 'Bob' enough. Sometimes the 'Bobness' just isn't depicted well on a given picture. I simply am not a 'hard ass' - I have all kinds of difficulty deciding not to use an image someone was so kind enough, and proud enough, to send us. I think this subjective "keep 'em / toss 'em" thing I have to do is a BIG part of why we don't do updates as often as we would like. I would make a very poor magazine editor. I can't imagine someone having to do this every day, and on a deadline. |

I think that would be a wonderful idea. The first time my hair was long enough to curl under on the bottom into a BoB/Pageboy was sensually exciting. To feel the shear weight of my hair as swayed side to side when I turned my head was nothing less than a pure "turn-on" and doing so gave the bulge to prove it. lol I instatly looking at my hair at this time. | Adding a criteria for males with bobs is a great idea. We are in the middle of an extensive, ground-up rewrite of the web site. This would be a simple feature to add.
There is a problem, however. Not all images are clearly male or female. It's possible our classifications will be in error. Perhaps we could add an 'Unsure' category and include those images no matter which is selected by the user. Our sole developer (me) is actively seeking employment, which is taking lots of time and energy. So the completion of this rewrite does not have an ETA at this time. |

| Not with me! I still find it hot and sexy, shorter in the back the sexier! Seems that the side shaved head thing is all the rage now but the bob is still sexier!
